Description
Atorvastatin 10 mg Tablets | 10*10 | ALU-ALU |
Atorvastatin is used to help lower high cholesterol. Atorvastatin is a medicine that helps decrease fat levels in the blood. It stops an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that the body needs to produce cholesterol. It reduces “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and fat in the blood (triglycerides) while increasing “good” cholesterol (HDL). Atorvastatin is often used to reduce bad cholesterol and fats in the blood. It also raises the good cholesterol levels (HDL). Getting your cholesterol levels better can lower your chances of having heart problems, a stroke, or a heart attack.
Your doctor may also use atorvastatin for other health issues.
How To Use?
- Take it at the same time every day.
- Swallow the pill whole. Don’t break it, smash it, or chew it. You can take this medicine with or without food.
- Don’t drink a lot of alcohol while taking atorvastatin. This might harm the liver.
- Let your doctor know if you drink grapefruit juice often. Drinking a lot of grapefruit juice (more than 1. 2 litres a day) while taking this medicine might raise your chances of hurting your muscles and could lead to kidney issues.
