- Take this medicine by mouth, usually once a month on the same day, or follow your doctor’s instructions.
- Don’t take it when you’re going to sleep or while you’re still in bed. Take this medicine with a full glass of plain water (about 6-8 ounces or 180-240 milliliters). Don’t drink it with any other drinks.
- Don’t chew, suck, or let the tablet melt in your mouth. Swallow the pill without breaking it.
- Stay sitting, standing, or walking for at least 60 minutes and don’t lie down until after you have eaten your first meal of the day.
