Description

Ambroxol Hydrochloride 15mg + Terbutaline Sulphate 1.5mg + Guaiphenesin 50mg Menthol 1 mg Syrup- This syrup has four active ingredients: Ambroxol Hydrochloride 15mg, Terbutaline Sulphate 1.5mg, Guaiphenesin 50mg, and Menthol 1mg. This combination of medicines is employed to treat productive cough associated with bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), bronchitis (inflammation of bronchial tubes), and emphysema (shortness of breath).

Chemical Class: Expectorants

Mode of Action: Amroxol Hydrochloride prevents mucus production, provides expectoration, and cures productive cough. Terbutaline Sulphate acts as a selective beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. Guaiphenesin is a mucoactive drug, used to relieve wet cough due to common cold. Menthol gives a cooling sensation on the skin when inhaled or orally ingested.
